Here are 4 Ways To Unclog Your Pores

If you take care of your skin regularly than you know how important it is to unclog pores. Our skin takes in so much pollution and dirt every day that it tends to pile up over time. The skin has tiny pores that release oil and sweat from time to time and unfortunately, the opening leads to dirt piling up over time. And if you don’t look after your skin often, the dirt in your pores will continue to pile up causing acne breakouts. That is why it is important to unclog pores. The clogged pores lead to blackheads, whiteheads, acne, and bumps. So without further ado, below are four ways to unclog your pores. Keep reading them below to know what they are:

1. Salicylic Acid

Acids are huge in skincare nowadays and are hugely recommended by dermatologists as well. Salicylic acid is widely used to prevent acne as it goes deep into the pores to clear off all the dirt and bacteria. It is recommended to use a moisturizer after applying the salicylic serum to lock the moisture overnight. Another tip is to use it every 2-3 days as using it every day can cause redness, irritation, and over strip the skin.

2. Pore Strips

I used Biore Pore Strips before switching to Salicylic Acid and the strips worked magic in taking care of my blackheads. I suffered from the worst kind of blackheads and thanks to Biore Strips, it’s like they were never there to begin. The strips are super easy and straight forward to use. I love that they come in different sizes depending on the part of the face you want to apply it on. The process is simple. Wet the area you want to apply the strips on and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Slowly peel away from the skin and then rinse the area with warm water to get rid of any residue.

3. Exfoliating

Exfoliating 2-3 times a week should be part of your regular skincare regime. I switch between physical and chemical exfoliators all the time but an exfoliator in your routine should be mandatory. When you are regular with exfoliating, you are constantly removing dead skin cells so they don’t pile up. Remember, if they pile up, you are more likely to get breakouts.

4. Seek a Professional

I always say that if you are looking to do a treatment at home, AVOID doing it unless you really know what you are doing. Doing a treatment requires using tools like pore extraction tool and if not used right, it can make the pores deepen and worsen leaving permanent scarring. Always seek a professional for facial treatments.

So, guys, this is all the way to unclog pores. If you have any comments or suggestions, leave them in the comments section below.
