I always take advantage of Valentine’s Day to dress up because I need a reason to look and feel good. Dressing up for V-Day is all about looking relaxed, cozy, romantic and sexy. I always look forward to the dinner whether it’s at home or at a restaurant as that’s the best time to show yourself off. For those who are still indecisive or don’t know what to wear then this is the right post for you. In today’s post, I have curated a Valentine’s Day outfit guide for you all to get you all thinking about what you can wear on Valentine’s Day. Without further ado, let’s have a look at them below:
1. Statement Tops
Statement tops can take you from 0 to 10. A little work on the sleeves or the neck or even the details can make the top stand out. I personally love anything with sleeve work because it makes my shoulders pop. Here are some pieces I would be excited to wear for V-day.
2. All Red Everything Red
Red dresses are hugely associate with V-Day because as some say, it is the color of love. Red dresses tend to be more romantic and perfect for cozy date night looks with your partner. Whether you wear top or a dress, it all comes down to your preferences. Dresses can have v-cut, embroidery, puff sleeves, can be knee high or even full length or anything you want as long as they are in the red color range.
3. Sequin Dresses
Don’t put new year dresses away yet because they are also perfect for v-day looks. If you are in the mood to wear more sparkle then sequin dresses are perfect. They can be in any color as long as they sparkle. I personally love all of them because they make me feel more extra than in other dresses.
4. Black Dresses
Last but not least, if you are not in the mood to be extra with red or sequin dresses than the black dress would be perfect for you. It’s classic and is suitable for all occasions. A black dress is a wardrobe essential and will never go out of style. It can be worn over and over again and still feels new every time you wear it. If you are a person who likes to put minimum effort in dressing up then a black dress is also for you as well.
