What Products I Use To Get A Skin Glow

I invest so much on my skin. And I invest much more than using makeup products as I truly believe in having a good and healthy skin. As we are transitioning from winter to spring, I felt this was a good opportunity to talk about how to have a glowing skin using quality and result-based products. Let’s go ahead and have a look at my go-to products for an instantly glowing skin.

1. Double Cleansing

I always insist on double cleansing because this is the only way to completely remove any makeup and sunscreen residue. While oil-based cleanser works to remove any oil-based impurities, including makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and pollution, the water-based cleanser then does its magic by working its way into the skin to completely remove any leftover residue. Back when I used to use just a cleanser, my skin felt rough and clogged but thanks to double cleansing, my skin now feels fresh and glowing.

2. Don’t Forget Exfoliation

Exfoliation is key. I love using chemical exfoliants as they works your way into the skin by unclogging pores, boosting overall circulation, increasing cell turnover, and preventing acne/blackheads. I cannot recommend Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum enough. It really works to smooth, refresh and hydrate my skin.

3. Vitamin C for Morning Glow

I religiously use Vitamin C in the morning to lighten dark spots, reduce fine lines, wrinkles and stimulate the growth of new collagen. I have used plenty in the past but the ones I highly recommend are Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum and Ren Skincare’s Glow Daily Vitamin C Cream. I have seen major skin glow just by adding Vitamin C in my skincare regime.

4. Niacinamide is Key

Niacinamide is one the hot ingredients in skincare nowadays. I have personally been using Niacinamide for the 2+ years and it’s become my go-to active ingredients in my AM/PM skincare routine. Although it’s an amazing ingredient for getting rid of dark spots and giving you an overall glow, it also happens to be an irritative ingredient due to its high concentration. Luckily, First Aid Beauty came out with Facial Radiance Niacinamide Serum that has the right amount of concentration and is reported to be gentle and non-irritating for the skin. If you are looking to start using Niacinamide in your skincare routine, I would strongly urge you to start with this one!

5. Moisturizers

Last but not least, to get a finished glowing skin, it is important to use a hydrating moisturizer especially in winter. My skin tends to get dry patches so it is important for me to use a good heavy moisturizer to keep my skin glowing all winter long. I would highly recommend Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream if you are on a budget. My other favorites are listed below:

So everyone, here are all the skincare products I use to get a glowing skin. Like I said, skincare is important to me and I truly believe in investing quality skincare products to have a plump glowing looking skin. Do you use products to get a glowing skin? Let us know in the comments below.

Hi Kaelen, I use the same moisturizer for AM and PM and a separate sunscreen. I am currently using the sunscreen by Ren Clean Skincare 🙂
