I always look forward to summer so I can start looking for nail colors! Nail colors in summer brighten up but I also love that you can wear darker shades nowadays. Now that it is spring, I am trying to be consistent with nails and like to get them done every few weeks. And if I have a trip coming up, I get my nails done with a gel. But for now, I am sticking to regular nail polish so I can change the colors more frequently. So guys, here are my top trending nail polish colors this season.
Ever since I moved away from Toronto, I have gotten pretty much used to traveling back and forth to the city. Beauty care is important to me and no matter where I travel, I want to make sure I have my must-have products with me. One of the problems I faced in the beginning of my travel journey was fitting everything into my luggage case, especially big bottles. Over time, I have gotten better with packing and know exactly the right size beauty products to carry. Keep reading below to know what those beauty products are:
Hair clips are the best accessory at making you stand out in looks. You could be in just simple waves but wearing clips will make your hair look like a style spotter. I am missing the month of August as summer left with it and September is starting to get chilly. Nevertheless, fall is one of my favorite seasons so I am excited. My August 2018 favorites were all the new products I bought and tried. Without further ado, let’s look into them below:
July has been an overwhelming month. My son Mikael was born on July 5 2018 and I can’t believe he is over a month now! Time flies! My body has been going through hormonal changes and right after giving birth, I started looking into skincare products to improve my skincare imbalance. Given I am a makeup junkie, I had the chance to add some makeup products to my July 2018 favorites as well. So lets have a look into my favorite products below:
Eyelash lift and extensions has been the rage for the past 3-4 years. I have spoken to friends and colleagues about eyelash extensions and it has worked amazing for them. I personally never felt a need to do them as I have had naturally longer looking lashes. Recently, I went for a consultation to Infinity Beauty Healthcare Spa and Clinic and was advised to do an eyelash lift rather than eyelash extensions. Here’s the difference between the two:
When I found out I was pregnant, I didn’t really look into the skincare products I was using. Although I should have (My extreme morning sickness took most of my day)! But nonetheless, I caught up towards the end of my second month. Taking care of the skin routine is as important during pregnancy as it would be if you weren’t pregnant. Luckily, I haven’t gone through major skincare changes but I did want to make sure I was using products that were harmless to me and the baby. Before I talk about about pregnancy skincare routine products, I wanted to highlight chemicals that are super harmful for your body and should be avoided during pregnancy at all cost.
Cyantific skincare products were recently sent to me and I had the chance to try them over the week. I received the following products below and here’s what I think of them:
- Cyantific Protecting Daily Lotion – The moisturizer is light texture and has a decent scent to it. After applying, it leaves a light shine on the skin which I love. The lotion is SPF 30 and is made to protect against skin-aging UVA and skin-damaging UVB. To me, it personally works great on my tan skin.
- Cyantific Serum – I applied the serum after using facial cleanser. The liquid has ginger root extract and had a little scent to it. After applying, I felt as if my skin was more fresh as I made sure to stimulate every part of my face. The serum is great for every day use.
- Cynatific Night Cream – I am generally picky about my face cream as not a lot of them suit my skin. I have a combination skin and I am always on a look out for a night cream that is light in texture and feels softer on my skin. I personally loved the hydrating night cream and it is my favourite Cyantific product so far. I personally love the way it blends in my skin!

This unexpectedly turned out to be one of my best looks to date. Mainly because I focused on nude and white colours but also because my makeup was on point. I didn’t realize the shots would turn out to be so perfect. I got the cardigan from Sirens and my white pants are from Nordstrom. This look is perfect for basically any day. I had this look when I went shopping the other day and my fav Guess bag was the perfect thing to match with the look!! Also, I want to admit I am not a makeup artist but I do love doing makeup on myself. And yes, I do experiment a lot with makeup. And that is why I am highlighting my makeup products below. My look basically consisted of all these products =)
