Skincare tools can be a hit or a miss. Thanks to Amazon, you can literally find any skincare tools with just a click away but it all comes down to one question, are they worth your money? Being a skincare junkie, I have tested out tons of skincare tools in the past but was only able to narrow down to just six. The following skincare tools are a total game changer for me and I would hands down recommend them to everyone. Without further ado, let’s have a look at the skincare tools below:
1. Facial Razors
Before using facial razors, I used to wax my face. And every-time I waxed, I would get inflammation which lead to acne and hyper-pigmentation. I was stuck in a rut where I thought wax was the only the way I could remove my facial hair the right way. Although I had heard of facial razors, I wasn’t ready to shave my face until I ran out of wax one day and decided to give facial razor a try (it was actually so random!). It turns out it is the best thing I did for my face. The process is painless and not just removed my facial hair but also exfoliated my face by removing dead skin cells from the surface of my skin (aka peach fuzz). And it’s a myth when they say the hair grows back thicker and darker. Instead, you get a smoother and exfoliated skin that allows serums and moisturizers to penetrate deeper into the skin. I just wonder over and over why I didn’t use it before. Using facial razor has done so much more on my skin than wax ever did.
2. Gua Sha Stone
Hands down my favorite facial tool for increasing blood circulation and improving lymphatic function. If you are looking for naturally glowing lifted and tightened skin then Gua Sha is the only skincare tool you need. To use Gua Sha, place the tool on your face and gently sweep down while placing your free fingers close to Gua Sha for resistance. After each sweep, wiggle the tool to release more tension. This is a natural way to give your face a lift without spendings tons on surgeries.
3. Uplifting Beauty Roller
Uplifting beauty roller is my next favorite tool after Gua Sha. Like Gua Sha, it promotes lymphatic drainage but also helps reduce bloating on your face. It’s a tool I remember to use if I am headed for a night out and want to make my face to look more sculpted.
4. Facial Steamer
Ever since the pandemic started, I have forgotten what it’s like to get facial done outside. On my random Amazon search last year, I came across the affordable facial steamer that I now use for at-home facials. Steaming face has so many benefits including helping absorb skin care products better into your skin, cleansing, soothing, promoting circulation, and much more. The best part is that it’s super affordable on Amazon.
5. Nuface facial toning device
I was skeptical about the NuFace facial toning device given it’s price but I went ahead and decided to give it a try anyway. The micro-current technology stimulates, contour, tone, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I use it as part of my night routine and I barely see fine lines and wrinkles on my face anymore. As a person, who has just hit her 30 this year, using this device is a must for me to further prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
6. 3D Roller Massager
Last but not least, is the facial roller with a 360-degree design to reach all the areas of your face. The roller design promotes lifted and tightening skin, increases blood circulation and releases tension. I like using this when I have facial masks on. Once I put my mask on, I go over the mask with my 3D roller to help penetrate mask benefits into my skin. It not only feels relaxing, it feels amazing as well.
So everyone, here are all my recommendations for facial tools. Have you tried any of the tools yet? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comment section below.
I have not used most of these tools – only the facial razor – but I’m always interesting in improving my skin care. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the gua sha stone, so maybe I’ll start there 🙂
