Now that we are in Spring (officially!), I can finally feel like I can pull off some spring fashion! I recently did a post on spring trends on what’s trending this spring 2021 but for this post, I wanted to focus on five spring styles that are mood-lifting and will elevate your look for spring. So without further ado, let’s have a look at five spring styles below:
1. Neutral Tank/Crop Tops
I would call them basics as I wear them all the time and am forever collecting all colors because they are never enough for me. As much as I love t-shirts, they are tricky to pair with cardigans (for example) as they can make you look bulky. Tank/crop tops (especially in neutrals) are the best thing that happened to me as they are easy to style, make you look chic and extra fresh (always!). My quickest way to style them is with my favorite pair of jeans or go on a full monochromatic look. Whatever way I choose to style, they are my go-to for everyday errands.
2. Pretty Lilac
I am not over lilac and I am sure most of you aren’t either. I love lilac as it’s a soft flattering color that screams spring. Whether it’s a lilac top, pants, or an outerwear, I am all here for it! If you don’t have lilac in your wardrobe, then I suggest it’s time to do some lilac shopping.
3. Romantic Tops
Sometimes I just want to look relaxed and chic. Details like puff or ruffle sleeves not only make me feel relaxed and cute, but they also carry out a romantic kind of feeling. I love going for silks and embroidery textures in tops as they give out a more feminine feeling. I am seeing so many beautiful romantic pieces in spring and I ain’t complaining, they personally are a show-stopping trend this season. For a quick get ready look, I always pair romantic tops with my favorite jeans, pumps and finish it with a structured handbag.
4. 90’s Inspired Jeans
The other day, there was a debate on Tiktok on skinny jeans and how they should be completely done as of now. As expected, majority of the users said they have moved away from skinny jeans and now have moved more towards mom jeans. Although I had mom jeans for a while, I am seeing more and more baggy jeans come into play. Unlike mom jeans, the 90s’ inspired jeans are more loose and baggy and seems like they are here to stay for a while. This takes me to a question for you guys? Are you still skinny jeans fan or are you liking baggy/loose jeans trend?
5. Knit Dresses
Last but not least are knit dresses. It’s funny how knit dresses are a fall essential but I am seeing more knit dresses in spring on repeat. Instead of neutrals (which are also there of course), I am seeing more and more sleeveless knit dresses but in fresh spring colors like lilac, orange and yellow. I am personally loving this trend as I find knit dresses so chic and comfortable to wear for any day.
