If you are new to skincare or are not sure which skincare serums to begin with then you are here at the right page. Every skincare routine needs a serum but in order to understand which serum you need, you need to know what your skin concerns are. You can be dealing with excessive acne, oiliness, dry skin, wrinkles, texture, hyper-pigmentation (dark spots), or are showing signs of aging, whatever the concern maybe, you need to look for serums that target YOUR skin concern. The serums are made from high concentration ingredients that work your way through the skin to improve the concerns. Today I wanted to share the 5 serums that are so powerful that they have tackled my concerns as well as given me a flawless and glowing skin. Keep reading below to learn which serums to add in your skincare routine:
1. Caudalie Anti Dark Spot Serum
For a person whose primary concern growing up was hyper-pigmentation or dark spots to say, Claudalie has been a super-saver. The highly concentrated serum works to combat dark spots and even out your skin tone. The serum will leave you with a cleaner and smoother looking skin over time. No wonder it has one of the highest rated products at Sephora, it works amazing!
2. Farmacy Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum
If you are dealing with dehydrated and wrinkled skin then this is the serum for you. The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid that penetrates skin at different levels for maximized visible plumping and hydration. The result will be hydrated and wrinkle-smoother looking skin.
3. First Aid Beauty Niacinamide Dark Spot Serum
Niacinamide has been my go-to active ingredient for hyper-pigmentation and it has really improved my dark spots over time. There are some who are sensitive to the Niacinamide and that is why First Aid Beauty has formulated this serum with 5% concentration as opposed to 10% found in other serums. The higher concentration can be a bit much for some but the 5% concentration works well for all skin types. If you consistently use this, it will reduce dark spots, sunspots, discoloration and post-blemish marks over time.
4. RoC Retinol Retinol Serum
Retinol is the ultimate serum for literally everything. This particular RoC capsules fight wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles, dry and uneven skin tone. It’s the perfect anti-aging formula that you need in your skincare regimen. Plus if you haven’t tried skincare products in the form of capsules then this is a must try out. Oh and it’s super affordable as well!
I have been using Drunk Elephant products for over 2 years now and they never disappoint me. The C-firma day serum is my absolute favorite and has helped me fight dark spots and wrinkles. The serum is packed with fruit enzymes and chronopeptide and works to improve photo-aging. I apply it in the AM and let it do its magic!
