I firmly believe every powerful woman has a blazer for every season as it instantly elevates the look and boosts overall confidence. 1. Look For Light And Breathable Fabrics

This winter, I mostly wore wool, tweed, velvet, poplin, and corduroy blazers. They were perfect because of their breathable yet warming qualities. Similarly for spring, I am opting in for lighter fabrics like linen and cotton. You can layer them with any light breathable tops like dress shirts, crop tops and blouses and are perfect for the office and weekend hangouts.

2. Opt-in For Oversized Blazers

The last 2-3 years have all been about oversized blazers and they are not going away anytime soon. I love wearing them in hot weather because they are breathable and are less likely to make me sweat. My favorite way to style them is with shorts and dresses. If you are planning to invest in any oversized blazer, I would highly suggest to start with neutrals as they can be worn over and over again.

3. Go For Brighter Colors

Avoid any dark colors like black, maroon, or charcoal and look for brighter hues like whites, light grays, pastels as they compliment the brighter weather. I have light pink, tan, and a light gray blazer that I pull out every spring because it undoubtedly elevates all my summer looks.

Just like jeans and tops, blazers are equally essential to my style and I keep one for every season. I love blazers because they are versatile and powerful and can instantly make you go from 0 -10. Do you wear blazers in spring/summer? Let us know in the comments below.
