When I started fashion, I was all about experimentation. In my head, I thought the more I had, the better I will be at styling. Rarely did I know I would end up on basics to look more fab and expensive. When I say basics, I am talking about monochromatic colors like black and white, minimal jewelry preferably gold, and affordable accessories. Now without further ado, here are some favs pieces I have bought in the past and would recommend them to you to look expensive af:
1. White/Black T-Shirt
Guys, I can’t tell you the number of white t-shirts I have bought in the past that lasted for only 2 washes at the end. The materials were cheap and the quality was somewhat visible. This year, I decided to give Amazon fashion a try, and honestly, I was beyond impressed. I got these 100% cotton short-sleeve crewneck t-shirt and the quality was beyond impressive for the price I paid. They came in a pack of 2 and were under $20. For everyday looks, I like keeping my looks simple to crewneck tops paired with wide-leg pants or jeans. I honestly loved it so much that I bought 3 more colors that I am going to wearing throughout the year.
2. Shades
Now as much as I love my branded shades, it is hard to afford them when you are under budget. Luckily I came across these shades I have been loving. I am especially loving the round ones as they are super chic and vogue like. The best part is that they are all under $20. Check these out below:
3. Sneakers
Ever since I became a mom, sneakers have become my to-go shoes for everyday errands. They are comfortable all around, barely make my feet hurt and that is why I believe in investing in good quality sneakers. One of my go-to affordable yet luxurious brands for sneakers is Adidas and Amazon has an amazing selection of them. You will find pretty good variety there and are all under $100.
4. Gold Jewelry
With time, I lave learned to invest in good and affordable jewelry. And even if I am wearing expensive jewelry, I know it will last me for a good amount of years. I also try to look for jewelry that is minimal and is a design I can wear over and over again. Here are some good designs I came across on Amazon and are worthy of checking it out:
So everyone, here is how you look expensive just investing in good quality basics as I mentioned. Do you have any basics you like to mention? Let us know in the comments below!
