What I love about modest pieces is that you can continue to wear them even when the next season hits. You just have to do a bit of mix and matching and make it into transitional pieces. Modest clothing is all about layering for me and I love nothing more than playing with my closet to make outfits. So guys, I am showing you two pieces that I will continue to wear in transitional weather. Keep reading below to know what they are:
1. Summer Dresses
It may come as a surprise to some but we can still wear summer dresses in fall if layered right. It obviously depends on the dress of course. I am currently loving Lela floral dress by Colettaa. This modest dress is not just perfect for summer but also transitioning weather. You can switch up the summer sandals with fall ankle boots. And you can throw on your favorite jacket for a cool fall look. Because of the work done on the dress, I wouldn’t go for any heavy jacket but keep it light so I can still show off the flared sleeves and pleated neck work. It’s a type of dress I am not going to find anywhere else.
2. Layering
Sheer material is trending this fall and when I came across this sheer kimono, I knew I had to get my hands on this. If you are a jeans type of girl like I am, you are going to enjoy wearing this sheer kimono with jeans. You can also layer this with a midi skirt or your favorite kind of pants. Either way, this kimono will be the highlight of the look. I wore this kimono this past weekend, I got tons of praises on the sheer kimono. I kept my jeans and top basic because I knew this would be the highlight. See my full look below:

Those are two really cute outfits! I particularly love the swiss dot kimono – the sheerness is kind of unexpected and fun ❤️
