And fashion week has come to an end and I am a little late on posting this. But then it’s better late than never. Right? This year at NYFW, I was feeling glitz and glam and wanted to bring out the glam part of me. Therefore, I focused on evening wear or in particular dresses/jumpsuits. I am going to go ahead and break everything down and link the pieces with each outfit. So let’s go ahead and get started with the outfits.
DAY 1
Corduroy Jacket: Shein | Blouse: (Sold Out) Similar | Jeans: Similar |
This was the outfit I wore to an event the day I landed. I didn’t have a lot of time to get ready as I reached to the hotel around 4:30 pm but the moment I stepped into my hotel room. I took out this go-to dress and left for the event straight. I loved wearing the statement blouse as I thought it was chic and fashion-forward.
DAY 2
Look 1
White Dress: Lulus | Knee-High Boots: Lulus | White Leather Jacket: Lulus
I got a lot of my IG feedback on this dress. To be honest, It is a piece that a bridesmaid would wear but I wanted to turn it into a street style dress so I paired it with my favorite textured knee-high boots and a leather jacket. I loved how the final look turned out.
Look 2
Dress: Shein | Knee-High Boots: Lulus | Jacket: Lulus | Bag: Express (Similar in black)
Moving on to my next favorite outfit was this floral jacquard maxi dress paired with the same knee-high boots. I loved this look because of its monochrome colors. Recently I have been obsessing over burgundy and I have to say that this outfit is my absolute favorite because of the colors.
DAY 3
Dress: Shein | Gold Clutch: Lulus
This dress was actually everything and it was actually perfect for the winter and kept me cozy. This is a one-piece dress although some may think it’s not. Also, I don’t think I would have rocked the look if it wasn’t for the hairstyle. Thanks to Tresemme, I got old Hollywood curls and this look turned out to better than I thought it would have.
DAY 4
Black Jumpsuit: Lulus | Bag: Express (Similar in black) | Choker: Lulus
Last but not least, I didn’t want my fashion week to be all about dresses so I made sure to bring a jumpsuit. The puff sleeves jumpsuit paired with the statement necklace and the hair braid made it a rock and glam look. I can’t tell you how many praises I received for this look on the street.
So, everyone, these were my looks for NYFW Winter 2020. Which look is your favorite?
