Over the past couple of years, athleisure continues to become more and more popular as people become more conscious about the gym and lifestyle. I am honestly not complaining as this is something I needed after I had a terrible pregnancy and an unhealthy lifestyle. Over the past couple of months, I have been asked about where I get my gym outfits. Now gym wear is not just track-pants and tops. There is so much more to it. So I am going to go ahead and break it down into three categories for today (I am going to do more categories for another day). And so let’s get started!
1. Sweatshirts
I love sweatshirts for two reasons. First, it is something I can wear indoors as well as in the gym, and second I love that there are so many looks that come with sweatshirts. With quarantine, it seems as if the loungewear and gym wear is not that different. Here are some of my favorites.
2. Biker Shorts
I recently started wearing biker shorts and can’t believe I never wore them before. Sometimes I need my legs to breathe and biker shorts are the best alternative to leggings. Similar to legging, most of them also come with phone pockets so you don’t lose your phone. Believe me, I almost lost my iPhone at the gym one time. Check out some of the latest biker short trends:
3. Chunky Sneakers
I am a sucker for sneakers and even a bigger fan of chunky sneakers. For some reason, I find their soles very comfortable as well as the extra padding they come with. It may surprise some of you but Amazon carries all sneaker brands. From Nike to Adidas, to Sketchers. They have them all. See some of my favorites below:
