Watching movies on occasions is my best way to spend my time with my loved ones. I am a huge fan of Valentine movies and I am always on a lookout for nice, slow and meaningful movies to watch. Whether you are single, in a relationship and just looking to watch movies for Valentine’s Day then these movies may be for you.
1. A Star Is Born
When musician Jackson (AKA Bradley Cooper) falls in love with a struggling artist Ally (AKA Lady Gaga), the story continues with Ally rising up in her career while Jackson struggles to fight his internal battle. It’s a classic story of love and struggle.
2. Casablanca
If you are looking to dive into classic tales of love then Casablance may be for you. I don’t want to give too much away but the three-time Oscar wartime romance featuring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman is a must-watch.
3. The Big Sick
Based on the leading character Kumail’s real life, the story revolves around a struggling comedian who falls in love with a girl and struggles to bring her up to his traditional Pakistani parents. When Emily gets sick and falls into a coma, Kumail develops a bond that he doesn’t want to let go of.
4. Crazy Rich Asians
I actually laughed and enjoyed the movie so much that I had to mention it. The movie is an adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s comedic novel showing the wealthy complexed family of Rachel Chu’s longterm boyfriend and how Rachel copes up with them on their trip to a wedding in Singapore.
5. Singles
Based in Seattle, the plot revolves around the lives of a group of young people who go through an emotional struggle to find the ‘one’ for themselves.
When two childhood friends Monica and Quincy aim to be professional basketball players, their separate career paths pressurizes them to pull themselves apart.
