When the fall season began last month, I couldn’t help but notice the colors taking over this season. If you keep up with fashion week then you may know that a lot of colors were determined by F/W 2020 runways. While there are many colors that hit the runaway, there are three that stood out. These colors are rich and versatile and are here to stay! So everyone, let’s go ahead and look at the colors below:
1. Lilac
Lilac is not your typical purple, it’s so much more and better. The best way to wear lilac is to color block or go head-to-toe to make a statement. You can also mix lilac with blacks, whites, or maybe some (not all) pastel colors. My favorite type is lilac blazers, or a full-on lilac embroidery gown, jumpsuit, or a jogger set. If you want to upgrade your look, you can even throw on a lilac accessory like a purse, keychain, or sunglasses to rock the look.
2. Chocolate Brown
I don’t know why but whenever I think of brown, I think of fall. Somehow, the color brown has subconsciously been programmed in my head to be a fall color. Maybe because it reminds me of the fall things like the leaves falling or the hot cocoa. Whatever it is, I am all in for brown this fall. The color is warm, luxurious, and, definitely screams a cozy look. This year, I have been seeing a lot of rich-brown, or in other words, chocolate brown. I am seeing it in brown boots, brown jackets, dresses, pants, etc. And I am loving every bit of it!
3. Olive Green
Lastly, I have been falling head over heels for the color olive green. It’s a kind of color, that happens to work perfectly for fall. For example, I have been seeing a lot of military-style jackets and they are perfect to wear with shorts. Zara had these olive green high-waisted pants that I just fell in love with, they can be paired with white/black tops and you can even finish it off with a cropped jacket. Lastly, you can even get olive green boots and wear them throughout winter. There are so many ways to wear olive green!
So everyone. these are colors I am obsessing over this fall. Do you have any color you would like to share with us for fall? Let us know in the comments below!
