Fall 2020 Coats I am Currently Loving

I have been seeing the temperature drop more lately and it’s a sign that we are ready officially ready for the coat season. I mean I have been wearing coats/jackets in the last 2 months but not repeatedly, some days can be sunnier and the coats/jackets are not necessary. But I can’t say the same for next month and so it’s better to be prepared and have all your coats and jackets out for the cold weather ahead. Let’s also keep in mind that some coats/jackets that we were wearing last season may not be in trend. So let’s go ahead and see what is trending in fall/winter 2020. Keep reading below to find out:

1. Long Coats

I am starting to believe that long coats or thigh-high coats will never be out of trend as it’s been the case for the last 5 years. Ever since I started blogging, they somehow always make it back in my fall/winter wardrobe. And I am not complaining! I find that they give me a sleek street style look or even a country-style look. You can add them to any outfit and they will rock the look. I am obsessing over all the coats by Allegra K on Amazon (see below). The coats are within budget and are unique because of their colors and cuts. It’s the little things that are making each one of them stand out.

2. Corduroy Jackets

When I visited Zara this September, I couldn’t help but notice all the corduroy jackets there. And when I saw plenty more corduroy jacket looks on TikTok, I knew they are here for a while. An advantage of having corduroy jackets is that they are super warm (some more than the others) and can be worn over dresses, t-shirts/jeans, top/skirts, etc. I can think of so many ways to style them.

3. Down Jackets

A down jacket is another way of saying a puffy jacket. They are actually one of the best types of jackets to wear when we are transitioning from fall to winter. They don’t only look cozy, they feel super cozy too.

4. Sherpa Jackets

Sherpa jackets are similar to teddy jackets but are different in material. They are also super cozy to wear. I wear mine when I go for outdoor runs. It styles well with athleisure wear.

5. Leather Jackets

Last but not least are the leather jackets, if you want to edge up the look then don’t say anything further. The very first thing that comes to my mind for an edgy rocky look is a leather jacket. Since it’s November, look for long leather jackets or jackets that are mixed with leather and other cozy materials to keep you warm.

Such an amazing post and great coat options! I’m definitely a lover of long coats, I probably own way to many but I think they go with everything.
