As we get closer to summer, I am seeing a lot of polka dots every day. From Polka dot skirts to tops to dresses, there are so many ways to style polka dots. When I started shopping for spring two months back, polka dots had already swept into retailer homepages. My Instagram feed is also starting to fill up with polka dot fashion. While a midi polka dot dress is easy to wear and doesn’t require a lot of coordination, I wanted to show ways to incorporate polka dots pieces into your outfit. Let’s go ahead and look at polka dot trends:
1. Polka Dots Blouse
I am obsessed with Polka Dot blouses because there are so many ways to incorporate them with other pieces. Just recently, I paired them with my favorite white jeans. They can also be paired with regular everyday jeans or even wide pants. The look requires minimum effort and still makes you look effortlessly chic.
2. Polka Dots Skirt
Just like blouses, polka dot skirts aren’t any less. I personally love them as they bring out the retro fashion in me. The easiest way to style them is with a plain white top (or any light color) and maybe a cardigan or a blazer. Try to avoid printed tops. In the look below, I styled it with a Zara tank top and a green cardigan. I finished the look with my favorite Adidas Sneakers.
3. Polka Dot jumpsuits
As jumpsuits are heavily in nowadays, I have come across some polka dots jumpsuits online. I personally would be shopping for some this season as they are super easy to style (no pairing pieces). The best to wear them is with wedges or pointy flats this season.
