Ok, let’s talk kitchen! As much as I talk about fashion, I am also passionate about cooking and making sure I have all my kitchen gadgets when I need them. If you spend time in the kitchen as I do, I am sure there are some gadgets you can’t live about. But at times, you may not know about certain gadgets, and that/s why I am here to guide you. Fortunately, I have compiled some amazing kitchen pieces that you may find useful. Let’s go ahead and look at them below:
1. Kitchen Aid Mixer
Kitchen Aid Mixer is not just a mixture. There is so much more to it than you would think. The mixer is a tilt head meaning you don’t have to take off any hooks when you remove the bowl, you tilt the head to remove it. It comes with 3 hooks: mix, knead and whip. I use the knead hook to make doughs or sometimes roti. When I am baking, I use the mixing hook. And if I am in the mood for whipping up cream for desserts, then I use the whip hook. If you are the mini chef of your house like I am, then this mixer is a kitchen staple.
2. Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker
Let’s talk about Keurig! There’s been hype on Keurig for a while now so let’s get into it. I am a fan of this Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker as it comes with plenty of features. It can brew multiple cup sizes so you don’t have to do it over and over again. It also has an option for iced settings if you are in the mood for cold coffee. Lastly, it also has a feature for hot water on demand meaning if you are using tea bags then you don’t need a separate kettle for it. It a definite ‘yes’ from me!
3. Dutch Ovens
I love dutch ovens not just for their looks but for the way my food tastes when I use them. They are great for slow cooking and the cast iron allows the heat to distribute evenly making it ideal for every type of cooking. You can bake, roast, fry, or literally use it for any type of cooking.
4. Mixing Bowls
I have tons of mixing bowls but I am a huge fan of these bowls for two reasons. First, the material is steel and is likely to break (believe me, my son has broken plastic mixing bowls before). Second, they come with airtight lids. At times, I need to put away raw meat in the fridge and I have to plastic wrap over it. With these bowls, I don’t have to worry about the extra step.
5. Dinnerware Set
We are going to be hitting thanksgiving soon and I am excited about using this set. The colors and style scream fall and thanksgiving all together. I am obsessed!
6. Bakeware Pieces
From my rant on Kitchen Aid Mixer, you guys already know I love baking. These are just some practical gadgets I have in my kitchen that make my baking easier. The 10 piece bakeware set (bottom right) is perfect as it has all types of baking pans for different kinds of baking. If you like decorating then this mini decorating toolset (bottom middle) is perfect and worth the price. Lastly, the baking tray and cooling tray (bottom left) are perfect if you are looking for sets.
7. Spice Jars
Last but not least, are my favorite spice jars. I have rented houses for a while and unfortunately, every time I move to a new place, the shelves have different heights thus making it hard for my spice jars to fit in. These jar sizes are perfect and come with a label set as well. This is a must-have for anyone who uses a lot of spices.
